Roger Sachs

In 1982 Director Roger Sachs founded Freedom Crusade, our parent church organization, as an outgrowth of his missionary work in Mexico. In addition to the local church, he helped plant and oversee two churches in Tecate, Mexico.

He also worked closely with New Life Crusade ( Big Jim Tucker’s Ministry ) for over twenty years  in prison ministry, re-hab, and serving on their Board of Directors.  From 1994 until 1996 Roger, his wife Roxanne, and their two youngest children, John and Jenna, were sent out by Freedom Crusade on a long term missionary journey which took them to England, South Africa, Namibia, and New Zealand.

Roger formed evangelistic outreach teams in each of these nations, working and networking with a variety of different churches, ministries, and organizations. In 2006 Roger retired from his occupation as a C-53 State Contractor, and has been devoting full time to developing and building on the ministry foundation of service to God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Freedom Christian Fellowship: Shane Keeling

Shane Keeling

Shane Keeling

Shane Keeling is the pastor of Freedom Christian Fellowship, a local congregation that worships on Sundays in Santa Maria, CA. In connection with the local church, Shane is developing a Missions Training Center.

Shane has served as a worship leader in a number of churches. He and his wife, Rachel, started Inflight Ministries in 1998 in the city of Lompoc, California. Inflight started as a school of ministry and grew over its three year history into a school for homeschoolers, a local outreach center and a small local fellowship for unchurched people who God connected to the ministry.

In addition to this Shane worked with a core team of leaders to establish a multichurch prayer and worship movement in the spirit of the tabernacle of David on the central coast of California for three years prior to joining the staff as an ordained minister with Freedom Crusade.

In 2001 Shane went into business with his dad and started the waterfall creation department of His dad’s company designing and building waterfalls and waterfeatures. In 2006 after receiving a strong directional word from the Lord to get back to ministry Shane returned to the coast and began seeking the Lord at a deeper level in the realms of daily worship and prayer. He is just now in 2009 returning to ministry as his primary occupation .

Shane also is involved in the music industry, relates regularly to the business community, and is currently training to become a certified nutritional, fitness trainer and life coach.

Shane is currently ordained with Freedom Crusade.

Believer’s Chapel: Glenn Adkins

Glenn Adkins

Rev. Glenn (first left).

Rev. Glenn Adkins was Roger Sach’s first pastor. You can read about how they met in Fire on the Mountain. Glenn’s is ordained with Freedom Crusade and his current ministry is The Lord’s Trumpet based in Big Bear, CA., and working out of his home church, Believer’s Chapel.

Rev. Glenn has been ministering and singing around the nation since He was seventeen years old. Most of His ministry happens on the streets, byways, and bars. He gets people’s attention with his singing on the streets and bars for the Lord, but knows how to answer the tough ’street and bar’ questions that usually come up. He believes in ‘friendship evangelism’. He reaches people that most of us don’t or wouldn’t want to reach.

He has been in ministry for forty years. Most of His ministry over the years has been in Hollywood, Venice Beach walkway, and Topanga Canyon, near Malibu, where He pastored for over fourteen years. He later pastored in Big Bear for nine years. Even though He pastored for those years, His main ministry was outreach outside the church walls. He has also been involved as the chaplain of the Big Bear Hospital and San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department, working out of the Big Bear Sheriff’s station.
